Cycle Hire
Hiring a bike could never be easier than at Station Cycles, whether you're jumping off a train at the rail station or just wandering around the centre of town. We offer cycle hire on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, both for individuals and groups, and have a bike to fit everyone. Special rates are available for those studying in Cambridge, and discounts may be available for large groups.

City Bikes

Most of our hire fleet is made up by our unisex Minerva city bikes. The Minervas are a great Dutch style bike with 3 gears, hub brakes, rack, basket, kickstand, mudguards, lights and an integrated wheel lock.
These bikes are perfect for a relaxed ride around the town - you might not be the quickest on the road, but you'll certainly enjoy the ride.
Mountain Bikes

Great for students, or those on a budget, our ATB style bikes are the cheap and cheerful alternative to the city bike. With 18 speed gears they are in fact a little more flexible than the Minervas, although maybe not quite as comfy!
Mountain bikes come with lights, lock, mudguards and an optional basket, and are available in ladies' and gents' models (subject to availability).
Tandems

Fancy trying something new? Two-seaters are always great fun, whether for a romantic day out or a charity ride. Both riders have a set of pedals and handlebars, with steering and braking controlled by the front rider.
Though we have several tandems available, they often get booked up in advance - especially for events like the annual London to Cambridge ride - so please call ahead to check availability.

If you're planning a day out in Cambridge, we can help you get the whole family on wheels. We have kids' bikes for all ages, as well as cycle trailers, child seats and tag-alongs if you want to keep in control.
Please note that our supply of kids' hire bikes can be limited at times, so please call ahead to check availability.
Performance and Specialist
If you're looking to hire out a particular type of bike, or you just want to try something new, we can offer rental of performance road and mountain bikes, folding bikes, electric bikes, tricycles, in fact pretty much anything you can think of! We aim to be very flexible, so if you have a specific need please give us a call to discuss what we can do for you.
Pictured on the right is Lisa Hall, who entered the London Triathlon in 2008. Riding on a Dawes Giro racing bike from our performance selection, Lisa placed 219th out of 715 ladies in the sprint distance triathlon event.
